Extreme Ikea-ing

I had a Supermarket Sweep-type experience at IKEA today.  We've been without a couch for about 3 weeks now, so I was determined to get one this afternoon.  I had 1.5 hours to race through the labyrinth of showrooms, candles, containers, pillows, bathmats, small children, to finally make my way downstairs (I'm fairly certain the entire route of the store is the equivalent to a 5k) pick up the loveseat at the self-service shelves (how is a couch self service??  I know it's my own fault for not going to the gym, but seriously), pick-up bookshelves (again, great packaging, but geez, this box is heavier than me), check-out, and register for home delivery by 3pm to receive same day delivery....success!  Barely.  ACK.  I forgot the couch covers.  Foiled!  Supermarket Sweet made it all seem like so much fun (cut to about 1:30 to relive the excitement):

Mr. Met's New Digs

Instead of working on unpacking and cleaning our new apartment, I've managed to distract myself otherwise by creating this not-yet-conceptualized-we-will-see-how-this-goes blog.  Our beloved household mascot, Mr. Met is adjusting to his new pad as well.  As you can see I've reached the "miscellaneous collections" portion of our belongings.
